Turkey sausage
For 1 pound of ground turkey:
1.5 TBS coconut sugar or maple syrup
3/4 tsp hickory smoke salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp ground sage
3/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp oregano
1 tsp sumac or 2 TBS lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
optional:
pinch of ginger
clove of minced garlic
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Mix spices in a blender. Add into bowl with ground Turkey. Mix throughly!!!!!
This part is ESSENTIAL, let it sit overnight in the fridge. Otherwise the spices will not incorporate into the meat and it will taste bland OR increase your spices by 1.5x
Enjoy!!
