First time growing anything from seed and I've been winging it and learning along the way, put them through hell but they are starting to turn around. I've had them go through edema, overwatering, too much air on them causing them to curl, premature repots, inconsistent vpd, etc etc.

Once I figured everything out and got the ac infinity controller dialed in to maintain temp, fresh air, vpd and all that they have made big strides in the last couple of weeks.

Have 24 more pepper plants plus 9 tomato plants on the way but done the right way from the start this time and they've already started to sprouted or started to sprout in under 2 weeks. Going to repot the rest of the 3 inch pots soon and setup another tent for the other seedlings.

Got everything aside from the seedlings in ocean forest right now. If anyone has some other basic tips or things to lookout for i'd appreciate any input.

Forgot to mention but surprisingly all the roots looked great when repotting them to the 1 gallon bags. I was expecting a few of them to be rotted but somehow they made it through my crash course. This pic was taken right after the light turned on and I watered them so they will be perkier soon but I’m just glad they are still alive.

  2. Just keep doing what you’re doing, they all look great. This is my first year growing from seed, and I have bewn through all of the same things. We keep learning, and we keep getting better.

Looking good. Tent growing can be tricky. Once they are outside all the fine tuning to the environment goes away. But say hello to pests 😉 lol. Part of the game – happy growing

They look great! Man, it’s my first year planting peppers from seed and I’ve seen edema, leaf scorch, leaf curling, transplant shock, nutrient deficiencies but only in a certain specific variety. Well done. I hope I make it to the finish line and get to plant my peppers out looking like yours did
