Spotted these at the local grocery store and immediately snatched it up. Never had kipper before, but I had a hunch it would be great. My hunch was right.
Goes good on a Club cracker, but honestly I ate most of it straight out of the tin.

I actually eat kippers more frequently than sardines! They’re great. Highly recommend sauteing with onions and eggs. A+

These are delicious, and relatively low in sodium for smoked & canned fish.
Polar is one of my 3 favorite kippers, along with KO kippers and Brunswick Golden Smoked Herring (note: not Brunswick kipper style). Each brings something different to the table.
That was the first tinned fish I ever tried (Besides Tuna). It’s so good just straight out of the tin.
I always pick a few of these tins up. They are cheap and delicious.
