My grandfather when I was young would always bring me home these Japanese cookies/biscuits.. they were in a metal tin with a geisha and some white trees on the front also there were three different kinds. Matcha – green tin, chocolate- purple tin and sakura- pink tin. They were curved rectangles half dipped in the chocolate of each flavour. They were individually wrapped inside too.
I’d love to find them it’s driving me crazy!!
I did a terrible picture to help hopefully

I upvoted because of your hand drawn attempt. Good luck in your quest!
Have you tried Google image search?
This might have just been some local omiage not a national brand, but I’m cheering for ya
these sound like langue de chats. ive seen Japanese langue de chats a few times at my local store. Start googling with that?
They’re called Chocolate Yatsuhashi! I saved those tins because they’re so cute! 😂
