This haul is a mix of what I consider essentials (not the smoked meat) quick meals , and a few semi-healthy options. Some brand name, some store brand.
Do you stick to a strict plan?

You really need to give Aldi a visit, probably could have gotten most of this off brand for about $80.

No, I generally buy what I know will be eaten each week and stock up on sales. Due to my upbringing, I generally keep a lot of food on hand. Too much per my husband 😁

I have probably cut my spending by one third to one half recently and have been boycotting stores. I’m going to try Aldi’s later today. I’ve heard they have low prices and their store brands are pretty good. Plus not a US grocery conglomerate 😊

Avocados are pretty expensive now. Do you mind sharing what you paid?

Down here, in the States, right now, that would barely get you the eggs, the fruit, and the juice. Maybe not even all of that…

I generally watch the circulars for the stores near me. I luck out that within a block or so radius I have an Aldis, Walmart, and Giant/Martin’s so I can preplan what I’m going to buy and hit all three without a huge loss in gas. Like I know starting tomorrow that Giant/Martin’s will have a sale on 80/20 hamburger for 2.99 a lb (but in the family pack, so at least 3 lbs) that I’ll take advantage of. Also, I’ll time it so that when they start doing reduced price meats to sell before the sell-by date is the day I go. My freezer is my friend. Shelf stable I’ll swing by Walmart and Aldis and pick up, as they tend to be cheaper.

Ack, raw fruit on your eggs. Asking for trouble.

I don’t think you can do much better than that as it’s pretty healthy stuff. No Aldi here. And Super c is one of the cheapest too.

Maybe making your own pasta salad as it does comes cheaper. Those traditional juices are tasty but more than the shelf stable oasis ones. Also I’m never loyal to one yogurt brand as there’s a different one on sale every week.
