Box was supposed to arrive yesterday, I contacted customer support who said they couldn’t locate the box and that I’d have to wait until today to see if my box would arrive or not. Then got this email today… pretty shoddy, no? Does this happen regularly?

Yes happened to me also, alrdy canceled my sub. So many disasters in the past I cant handle anymore
Not super common. I’ve had less than 5 not get delivered. Most of the time it was because the box was damaged. I used to get a box every week but now I’m down to once or twice a month. Just get favorites now on weeks that have my husbands favorite dessert.
I had a subscription for 2 yrs, canceled due to financial reasons and restarted in Jan, this has happens once to me, but the have me credit for the box since I had already paid for it and I wasn’t charged for the next box. It happens.
Tell them you want a refund not a credit
I’ve had this happen once in several years of using the service.
That said, you may want to push them for a full refund instead of a credit. They owe it to you since they didn’t deliver the product.
I just had this today, I contacted them and asked for a refund given that I now have to go out to purchase ingredients. They gave me a refund without quibble.
I’ve had this happen about half a dozen times over the last 5 years. I believe FedEx damaged the boxes and notifies Hello Fresh to send that message out. FedEx is brutal. I’ve had many damaged boxes show up. I dought it would be sent from Hello Fresh that way.
The only time I’ve had no delivery was when there was heavy snow. Been using them around 2 years now.
No it’s never happened. Also may not be their fault. Depending on where you are they may use a third party delivery. I’ve heard mixed reviews about some of the third party services.
I’m fairly new as well, only a few months and the first time I signed up I did so on a Friday for it to be delivered on a Sunday and this happened. Spoke with an agent, box was missing and got credit to go to the second box. A bit inconvenient but I didn’t think too much of it since I “placed the order” so soon before delivery date. Ever since then, every week has been on time.
I’ve never had this happen BUT all my meals are delivered by the Factor van and not by fedex, etc.
Boxes showing up a day late is more common than I would like. Boxes vanishing is a new one on me. The ice packs they put in there are usually good enough to keep everything cold enough for an extra day or so.
I’ve been using HF for the past 6-8 months haven’t had an issue yet. When I first did it a few years ago there was missing ingredients every so often, that’s about it. Now? It’s been great not one issue recipes are better than ever portions are ok. But it sucks seeing people having issues

It happens. Sometimes, couriers misplace or lose your box, especially if it’s FedEx.
Also now they converted your money to credits and if you have a deal that last ten boxes you cant use the currency on any boxes until it’s full price lmao they legit just stole your money but hey you’ll get a box after your deal is done lmao
Following tracking links, depending on which service is delivering, boxes show as damaged and notified the day before or the day of the scheduled delivery.
I canceled because I live where hurricane Helene hit and for about three months more boxes weren’t delivered than were delivered. I don’t think this is a fault of hellofresh.

I’ve had this happen about 4 times after 7 straight years. So I would say uncommon, but not unheard of!
