It looks fine, and I’m sure it tasted even better. Every piece of sushi that you enjoy is wonderful. It’s nice that some high-end places strive for perfection. But everything doesn’t have to meet those requirements, and AYCE places are great for me- otherwise I’d never get to eat sushi. Thanks.

Yo I’m glad your friend is training to make sushi but she needs to slow down and get more careful. It looks like shit. Your friend has probably been at it for less than a year for sure. Im sure it’s good, no shade but she’s gotta practice a lot.

Constructive criticism: taste is important but presentation is usually a result of attention to detail. Specifically the sushi rice to fish ratio is super important. Would love to see a progress picture at some point
