    As usual, looks delicious.

Question, and maybe you said it, but I just skimmed the video on mute, do you run your temp at high heat? What temp you think that cast iron is when you throw down your meat?

I use an electric griddle, and the highest I can make it go is 400°, and it gets the job done, but I always feel like it could be hotter, as I don’t get the nice crispiness that you get.

Edit: I thought this was the burger sub, so, I apologize for asking more of a burger related question, but I’ll leave it up anyways.

  2. Now you’ve done it. This erections gonna last more than 4 hours . Then I’ll have to consult my doctor 😮‍💨

I’ve been making smash burgers for the squad as often as possible. They’re so dang good! And it gave me an excuse to buy a mandoline.

    That’s a nice looking burger!

No extra raw onions for toppings? Otherwise almost a perfect looking burger 🙂

Oklahoma onion burgers were like an onion and burger lover’s best kept secret I never knew about for most of my life which upsets me since they are amazing. Looks great!

My brother in caramelized onions. I’m also in Oklahoma. How do I invite myself over for said ambrosia? I’ll bring the meat and onions.

  11. Oh my god. Thank you for posting. I need to make this now. I liked the bit where you mentioned you get several different cooks on the onions

There was way to much seasoning used, turned me off…

  13. Just a question, what’s the difference between smash burgers and just regular burgers? (besides smashing them ofcourse) I don’t really see the reason to smash it?

You need a stronger smasher – I use a painting trowel I got at Home Depot for $5.

I know you’re at home, but I hear my first Chef yelling at me to take my towel off my shoulder.
