Alec's describes this flavor as "organic Meyer lemon ice cream, a fresh lemon curd swirl, and a perfectly crunchy gluten-free lemon cookie".
Upon opening this ice cream, all I saw was white. The first bite was super lemon-y, and I was like wow! Then my second bite was more creamy. This is when I realized that the lemon curd swirl isn't a massive ribbon, it's thin pockets distributed throughout the pint. This is a good thing for me because you get a little curd in most bites.
The ice cream base by itself has a definite lemon flavor, but it's not punchy. It's a lovely balance between creamy, and zesty. It's sweet and smooth. The little pockets of lemon curd have a stronger, more tart lemon flavor, without being sour or mouth puckering.
I thought the lemon cookies would be more of just a textural contrast, but surprisingly they had a distinct lemon flavor as well. They taste just like the sleeves of ultra thin lemon cookies that crumble if you don't pop the whole thing in your mouth.
I wasn't even feeling in the mood for a lemon ice cream, but I've been wanting to try this flavor since I first saw it. Be warned, it's difficult to put down once you take a bite. I really enjoyed it.

Oh that sounds so nice for summertime. I’m going to search out a version that’s similar in Canada! Lemon desserts have me in a chokehold lol
my second-favorite flavor; just polished one off 🙂
