I try to be fancy, but most of the time I eat them out of the tin, but with my nicer deens it feels like a waste to not put them on a pretty plate…I have some of the fishwife and Patagonia tins left to try, but I feel like I need to pair them with something else? What do you guys pair sardines with other than crackers? (Last photo is a Swedish dishcloth/sponge that I couldn’t resist…)

    If there’s a nice sauce then over rice. Some nice sauces it’s nice to spread the excess sauce on some bread. Just straight up sardines in olive oil I just eat them. Don’t really see the point of the crackers, even.
