Low cal โfriedโ onion smash burgers!
The difference: mine has a keto bun, half the amount of cheese, and uses I canโt believe itโs not butter light instead of real butter. They both have the same amount of meat & condiments.
Recipe:
– keto bun (50 cal)
– 140g 96% ground beef (123 cal)
– 1 thin sliced cheddar cheese (45 cal)
– 1tbsp I canโt believe itโs not butter light (35cal)
– chopped onion
– sliced tomato
– pickles
– jalapeรฑos (optional but great!)
– parchment paper & spatula
– garlic salt
Heat half a tbsp of butter in a pan on medium heat and lay chopped onions on top.
Form a patty with ground beef and lay it on top of the onion/butter mixture. Turn heat higher and pour garlic salt on the patty.
Place parchment paper over the beef and use your spatula to smash the patty down. Do this a few times. Flip the burger, add garlic salt, and place the parchment paper on top and smash the patty a few times.
Use the other half of the butter to butter your bun and toast it. Once the patty is cooked add a slice of cheese on top to melt it. Easy, low cal, and delicious!
The 96% ground beef is pretty dry since it doesnโt have much fat, but I thought it was still a pretty damn good burger for 250 calories.

This is what itโs supposed to look like when youโre making them – that way the onion cooks underneath!
Well done ๐ to be honest though, i’d only calorie count the first four things. the other ingredients in your list, which haven’t got a calorie next to them (maybe intentional) are so low in calories. It’s not a maths game and that burger fills the prerequisit of enjoying your food.
