I have an awesome friend who bought this gallon of dressing at a place that sells close date food. I've thought about marinating chicken and putting it on some raw broccoli.

Any other idea? I don't want it to go to waste.

  1. Use it in Tuna salad with chopped up peppers and tomatoes, in potato salad with celery, change up the flavor profile of the marinade by adding chili flakes?

Potato salad. My dad used to make potato salad with Italian dressing or Italian dressing mixed with a little whipped cream cheese all the time, and it was delicious. Marinate thinly sliced steak strips and grill them over indirect heat or use as a pizza topping.

Marinade vegetables in it and roast or grill them. Peppers, big mushrooms, corn, onions would all work well, and maybe broccoli/ cauliflower too.

It is a delicious marinade for potatoes & carrots prior to oven roasting. I’ve also used it to marinate boneless pork chops with great results.

Pork chops and steaks are also good in this.

I would marinate and batch cook up the meats and freeze for later. Beef and pork is good for three months, chicken is good for 6 months.

Potato, chicken breast, italian dressing, crock pot on low. We like using the little round potatoes and cutting the chicken into largish chunks. A few hours on low and it’s a pretty good meal.
