    Thanks for the kind words everyone! My little one has already requested in advance that I make a princess cake for her next birthday so I’ll have to start working on ideas for that one.

    It was delicious!

    The shape I just cut out from pieces of two square cakes and kind of improvised. Thank goodness I made two because I completely botched a couple of pieces in the process trying to get the shape right. I know now for next time to draw up a template in advance!
