Got these bratwursts from Aldi for $2.99/lbs and made a chili. Served with rice and a some other condiments we had in the fridge.

    Sauteed onions and garlic with spices; added 28 oz can of tomatoes; let simmer and then three cans of black beans (not drained), a bag of frozen corn, and sliced grilled bratwurst. Simmer for an hour or two, and then some butter and chopped cilantro before serving.

    Are the brats the smoked kind? (if not you should try them)

    I’m a chili purist so I’d call that a stew, still looks amazing though.
