    A friend of mine was mak8ng beer and forgot to buy brewers yeast. Decided to use baking yeast instead. It was delicious, worked great.

    Not the same thing, but worth a try?

    I usually add 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast but as a supplement – after I’ve added the instant yeast, levain, or starter.

    You could probably salvage some of that. Lookup ‘Altus in Bread Baking’. Learned that from the book, Secrets of a Jewish Baker.

    Throw it in the oven to crisp it up, then blitz it into umami breadcrumbs!

    How did it taste? Most things are very tolerable if not delicious when you add butter….
