Congrats on growing your first chilli!
The plant looks too small and immature to be producing fruit, really – its putting its energy into growing chillis rather than growing bigger so it can produce more chillis later – but it’s the fun of growing and learning that counts

Looks awesome! Cayennes are fun to grow and usually produce quite a few peppers. I love growing them and making crushed red pepper flakes and sauces! They are a great pepper with a good heat and flavor! Good luck and congrats. Enjoy your work paying off!

I’d personally pluck those off so the plant can grow bigger! Great work though, cayenne are typically the first to fruit for me so hopefully you get a lot of season with them! I personally like fermenting them with some tomatoes and onions and garlic, then grinding it all up and dehydrating it, add a little sugar and makes a great seasoning or rub.

Congrats, I had a little guy like that, produced fruit when it probably shouldn’t have… I’d assume stress and the garden bed being too shallow. But hey, you live, and you learn… Is this the start of a Pepper growing addiction? 🌱
