I now, too, can recommend The Wood Owl as a great choice for a meal out in the East End.
We shared:
-Bread and Butter (I already forgot the butter flavour, but it was good)
-Chips of the day (ginger and garlic)
-Smoked trout dip with chips
-Crispy brussels sprouts
Everything was delicious, service was super speedy (even though the place seemed 90% full), and the prices were reasonable. $50 for my half including a glass of bubbles and a 15% tip.
Bonus points for a super duper cozy ambiance. Casual yet polished. Will return.
