Crispy Fish Sticks Wrapped in Lavash
One of my favorite comfort meals with a flavorful Armenian twist!
This dish is inspired by a traditional Armenian recipe and is one of my go-to ways to bake white fish. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside—these fish sticks wrapped in lavash are simple, satisfying, and perfect for sharing.
If you can’t find Armenian lavash, thin pita or large tortillas work just as well!
You’ll need:
* Lavash
* Cod fillet
* Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro, chopped)
* Salt & pepper
* Lemon pepper seasoning
* Butter (sliced)
To make:
1. Cut cod into 1.5-inch thick strips and season with salt and lemon pepper.
2. Cut lavash into rectangular pieces.
3. Place a piece of fish on each rectangle.
4. Top with herbs, and two thin slices of butter.
5. Roll it up like a burrito and place on a baking dish.
6. Brush with melted butter.
7. Bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes or air fry for 15 minutes.
Creamy herb dipping sauce:
* ½ cup Greek yogurt
* Juice of 1 lemon
* Chopped cilantro or parsley
Serve warm, dip generously, and enjoy every bite.
