My Grandma used to be a very bad alcoholic, after my grandpa’s death it nearly consumed her.
My dad and I used to go visit her every week or so, and she would always have some type of abomination boiling away on the stovetop.
Once we went over and she had a old boot in the pot, it was like something outta depression era cartoons.
She meet an amazing fella, that helped her beat it and had an amazing 15 years with him before her death 2009.

I lived for a week with my friends once, and among house chores that for some reason were not already done not by me was throwing away the “pasta with mushrooms with mushrooms” (it was standing in the fridge for god knows how long, and, expectedly, A LOT of mold grew on it)
I’m not mad at them, though: the rest of the house was relatively clean, and, after all, they wouldn’t be my friends if I didn’t consider them to be good people
