These are not spicy at all. Zero spiciness. They just taste like bbq chips. Hot cheetos are more spicy lol. 0/10 don't reccomend

I like the taste and cut, but definitely has zero heat

Interesting. I thought these tasted incredible and I can never keep them because I devour the bag. Definitely not spicy, but why would you expect a Trader Joe’s brand to be?

The cut of the chip and flavor is good, there is zero heat.

They have a habanero hot sauce that is crazy hot, try it out

😒it’s like the chips sat in the same room as the ghost pepper but never met each other.

They’re good chips, but have ZERO spice. Like, I didn’t even taste pepper in them. Herr’s on the other hand, they know what they’re doing. I used to get their cheese puffs at work, they were carolina reaper I think.

As someone with high spicy tolerance, the majority of the chips out there on the market labeled as spicy only have very subtle hotness which is hard to feel if not completely not spicy.

100% false advertising. Ghost pepper is 1,000,000 scoville, and these chips have barely any spice at all.

You’re gonna be disappointed by the heat level with the vast majority of the chips you try, if you’re a true pepper head like we are here. Over the past decade, despite trying dozens of chips that were advertised as Hot, or Ghost Pepper, Reaper, Habanero…whatever, I’ve been satisfied by only three:

Julio’s Freaking Hot (available in TX only I think)

HEB Carolina Reaper Cheese Puffs (TX supermarket chain)

Paqui Ghost Pepper Chips (now no longer available)

I’ll give a grudging “OK” to those Pringles Hot Ones, but only the Verde.

    That’s it!

i just got a bag of these last week while i was out by trader joe’s. while they didn’t burn my mouth off, they were a little spicier than the last bag i got a year ago. they also did something to make these chips super crispy, perhaps the thickened waffle design. i ate the whole bag in a day, so i have to stop myself from buy them again

Not super hot but I still like the chips

This has also happened with all Jalapeno chips as well. Jalapeno isn’t like a heat level anymore, it’s just a flavor now.

They are very disappointing. Their version of Taki’s are quite good though.

Can anyone tell me whats up with this? I feel like products that say Ghost Pepper are a total coin toss. Some are insanely hot, others feel like they barely got a pinch of cayenne.

i miss the trader joe’s ground ghost pepper shakers. those were legit, only ingredient being ghost pepper

My mom can’t take spice *at all*. Goes into a sneezing, drooling, crying fit from eating something that even barely touched a pickled jalapeño

I thought I was crazy eating these chips because there’s no way *Ghost pepper* has *zero* spice so I gave her a chip without telling her what it was as a blind taste test. She didn’t even sniffle. Those chips are a big fat lie!
