In this case my goto is coffee. I like both tea and coffee – but chocolate is a very powerful aromatic. Especially in a combination with cream.
So in my opinion most teas will be overpowered. Except for maybe a strong black tea or smth.
Coffee wonβt be overpowered.
Additionally coffee and chocolate goes well together anyway.
Aaaaand the theobromine in the chocolate will even slows down the break down of the caffeine

This dessert feels perfectly paired with a pumpkin spice coffee.
