stuff like this bothers me. the serving size is so small that they count it as zero calories, when it isn’t. i wish american food labels required calories per 100g

It’s oil instead of butter. You’d be better off eating real butter in moderation.

Find the non spray variant of it in your logging app, and use that per g instead. Use reverse weighing to account for how many grams you are using.

I do that with just about every spray.

My thoughts on the product itself? I’d rather use real butter or use oil spray.

website says 6 sprays = 5 calories. i personally really like it

As a child I would spray this into my mouth as a snack.

Man. Just eat the butter. If it’s a lactose thing, fine. But a single, 2mm slice of butter is not causing you weight gain. Margarine has to be doctored so much to get to something similar that an animal and a lot of shaking can also produce. Get a block of good butter and just use it sparingly.

I like it because it’s easier to use on certain foods like waffles than spreading actual butter.

honestly in this case i prefer their “light butter”. it’s like 35-50 calories per serving. land o lakes has a light butter as well that i think tastes the best out of all that i’ve tried. light country crock is pretty good too. all between 35-50 calories.

I love it. I don’t like overly greasy food and I’ve never liked real butter so this is a nice, light alternative for me. I’ve been using it for 32 years. I started craving it when I was pregnant so I actually remember the day I first had it lol.

I honestly love this for specific purposes. Got a bowl of pasta that needs a buttery lil’ kick but you don’t want the calories? Spray this ish on there. Veggies a bit dry? Spray this ish on them. Rice in need of some extra flavor but you don’t want olive oil or butter? SPRAY THIS ISH ON IT.

This is garbage food in my opinion. I prefer to use grass-fed butter and deal with the calories accordingly. Its not worth it to save calories on a food that will harm your health in different ways than excess calories.

  12. The one food I dont count. Although with how much I go through, I prolly should.

I wish they sold this in bulk, or direct, I would love to save money on it, outside of sales. The Parkay version is nearly as good and now almost half the price ($2.24/8oz) since this brands price has been hiked to $4/8oz (small bottle) in the last 6 months.

It’s made of oil. Grass feed butter in moderation is best.

I bought it and one in a container. I never use it cuz it reminds me of eating melted plastic. I just use a little bit of butter if I’m truly craving it.

I use real butter for some things, but I like to have it on hand because it’s very practical. Sometimes it’s nice not to bother with melting butter. Like it’s perfect for popcorn.

I did have a roommate in college with disordered eating habits who went through like a bottle a week at least and didn’t realize it wasn’t really 0 calories though. But for my purposes the minimal cal count isn’t an issue.

This, plus Butter Buds (for potatoes), and Molly McButter. And minute maid frozen lemon juice for hot lemon water with one packet sqeet n low or Equal. (Gawds. Tell me you were raised by a dieting 80s mom without actually saying it, lol)

My personal favorite is land of lakes fresh buttery taste. Tried lots over the years. Always come back to this.
