10/10 meal, add some corn tortillas and hot sauce if you feel like being fancy

Needs cheese, but otherwise looks good.

Had this quite a few times as a kid. Simple to make and delicious.

potatoes and eggs is one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. My grandmother made it better than anyone.

  12. My dad used to make this, but instead used potato O’Brian and cubed ham, and the sprinkled shredded cheese on top.

Looks tasty although I’d add that all it would take is to whisk the eggs together and pour them over the fillings, flip or broil it, and you’ll have a frittata which tastes the same but looks a thousand times more bougie. Cheese and greens are great to add too. Sriracha is a great idea though, I haven’t tried that yet.

If you make it so the egg forms a sort of quiche it’s called a Spanish Tortilla

It‘s called Bauernfrühstück (farmers breakfast) in Germany and is a whole thing. Though you‘d usually have it more as an omelette and served with some pickles. This is not shitty food, just bad presentation (not that I blame you lol, would eat it like this at home by myself as well lol)

In the UK, it was called Breakfast Hash.

You could actually buy kits for it, for some reason.

my dad makes this but also adds hot dog pieces, he calls it (great) depression breakfast afaik

  18. ShiftyState

I ate something very similar for dinner quite often when I was broke af. The only difference was I’d shred the potatoes on a grater into not-quite-hashbrowns.

Papas con huevos was/is a staple of my life. Planning on having some tomorrow, infact!

All that seems to be missing is Bacon and Cheese

  21. februarytide-

My grandfather always made this! He used canned sliced potatoes. I love this meal.

  22. Krono5_8666V8

I’ve made this for myself quite a few times, but I cube the taters. Damn near unbeatable for an easy Sunday breakfast (unless you add bacon)

  23. The Sriracha is the ribbon on top of this delicious looking present.
