I wanted to just say “Merica” but I can’t in this sub I guess? Is this title long enough?

You know what….fuck it. Depending on how it’s done I could see that actually being decent. I’d try it.

Dr pepper makes a GREAT marinade base, especially for BBQ sauces

  3. NRG_Blizzard

That will either taste kinda good or horrible, this fits perfectly in this sub

  4. artpoint_paradox

Tried these. Not for me but I can see people liking them. I just prefer a spicier jerky.

  5. Doorway_Sensei

Really sweet compared to a normal beef stick. But I didn’t hate it.

  6. LockPickingPilot

My kid likes them. It’s just a sweet slim Jim. Doesn’t taste like Dr Pepper

  7. EvilutionD

Had the Dr Pepper slim Jim, the whole family hated them

  8. Derpsquire

I thought those were Dr. Pepper popsicles at a glance, and that sounded really good. And they are, I guess. Only, meat popsicles.

This sounds good, except it’s Jack Links, and I’ve yet to try a JL product that was worth my money.

  10. These are disgusting. Tried to like it but it tastes nothing like either meat or Dr. Pepper. Tastes as bad as pumpkin spice Red Vines but if you can tolerate those, you’ll like Dr. Pepper jerky.

  11. I just want them to bring back Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers 😔

  12. choonghuh

I bought about a dozen from a discount store. These are good!

I have tried one and I hated it. It tastes like Vienna sausages if they were dipped in spices and sugar water. I do not recommend.

That’s like sticky sweet bbq, in Aus our fast food chains recently went through the cola bbq sauce fad, now it’s the end of hot honey

  15. Wish I could readily get Dr Pepper here (Australia), without getting it via some speciality store for $50 a 12 pack.

Those are pretty fire. You should try them.

This isn’t that weird, I’ve heard of people parboiling ribs in root beer and Indians are making omelettes from soda . Probably good but overpriced since it’s gas station jerky. Not a horrible idea

  18. JasonIsFishing

I’ve had it. Not bad, but I prefer spicier sticks.

  19. MorbidAtrocities

I’ve had one of these before, my partner wanted to try it so I said I’d join in because why not. Good lord they were nasty. We didn’t want to waste them so we tried pawning them off on our friend group. Someone said “we’ll try it if [my kiddo] tries it and likes it”. Unfair since she’s a known picky eater. But she said she liked it! So they all tried it, thinking “well if the picky eater likes it”. They fucking hated it. They were tripping over themselves laughing about how disgusting it was. And when I asked my kiddo if she genuinely thought it tasted good she said “no, I just wanted everyone else to suffer with me”.

  20. This is what they mean when they say processed foods, right?

  21. Cybermagetx

Drop pepper BBQ is legit. I would try this.

But im from Texas and thats out state drink.

  22. OkIncome1908

Seems like something I’d be excited to try cause of how odd it is and then end up shame eating it to get rid of it lol

  23. ImTooTiredForThis_22

I’ve had Dr Pepper bbq and Coke bbq before. It was good food.

Not sure how I feel about it being a meat stick though…

  24. Dogekaliber

Should have put this on Asmond’s Reddit page

  25. AkatsukiJutsu

These honestly taste like maple breakfast sausage

  26. Conscious-Top-7429

I saw Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored bacon the other day. I just don’t get it.

  27. Pixel_Knight

I am actually pretty curious about these Dr. Pepper jerky products. But just not enough to ever pay any money for one.

  28. veevacious

These are so awful. Smells like dog food. Tastes exactly how you’d imagine dog food to taste, but with a sweet aftertaste that’s a little bit reminiscent of Dr Pepper
