    There’s nothing like making homemade jam. Admittedly, I eat all the pretty berries and jam the imperfect uglies.

    How do you keep things besides you from from eating them? I planted a patch and everytime I go out to check on them they have bites took out of them.

    Homemade strawberry jam is the best. If I don’t have enough strawberries to jam, I will stretch the berries with rhubarb to make strawberry-rhubarb jam, or strawbarb jam as I mark on the jars. I always grow enough rhubarb but don’t always grow enough strawberries.
