Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Make your own homemade vanilla ice cream with simple ingredients right from your kitchen!
It’s creamy, delicious, and free from preservatives, artificial flavors, and unnecessary additives.
When the kids ask for ice cream, you’ll have a wholesome treat ready in your freezer — no need to rush to the store!
Trust me, it tastes even better when it’s homemade.

Ingredients: ( 15 big scoops)
400 grams fresh cream
500 ml whole milk
4 tbsp milk powder
1 vanilla bean (or use good quality vanilla extract if unavailable)
6-7 tablespoons desi khand (raw sugar)
A pinch of salt

Method:
1. First, slightly heat the milk — just warm it up, not a full boil.
2. Add the fresh cream and scraped vanilla bean seeds (along with the pod if you like for more flavor).
3. Keep heating it gently. Again, no vigorous boiling — just heat it up nicely.
4. Whisk everything well, then switch off the heat.
5. Let the mixture cool down a bit.
6. Once it’s cooled, add a pinch of salt and give it a good mix.
7. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze it for about 6 hours.
8. After 6 hours, take it out and blend the semi-frozen mixture in a blender until smooth and a little airy.
9. Pour it back into the container, smooth the top, place parchment paper and freeze again for 7-8 hours or overnight.
10. The next day, scoop and enjoy your creamy, delicious homemade vanilla ice cream!
