French Macaron Chef Pierre Herme To Debut A Singapore Store At Resorts World Sentosa

Have a sweet tooth? We have good news! French baker Pierre Herme is debuting a Singapore store at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) later this year, meaning you can indulge in the baker’s renowned macarons without leaving the Lion City. 




His patisserie is one of several new food and beverage brands opening progressively from mid-2025 at Weave, a new lifestyle cluster at RWS




They include the Korean bakery Standard Bread and Paul Pairet of the three-Michelin-starred restaurant, Ultraviolet, in Shanghai.

Pierre Herme is a fourth-generation baker famous for designing desserts from scratch. He was named the world’s best pastry chef at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016 awards. He opened Maison Pierre Herme Paris in 1998.




Pierre Herme Singapore will have signature macarons like the Ispahan (rose, lychee, and raspberry). It will also sell creations exclusive to the location.




In Paris, the patisserie sells French pastries like pound cake and brioche, chocolates, ice cream, and sorbet.

Joining Pierre Herme at RWS is Standard Bread. The Seoul bakery is known for baking bread every 30 minutes and a large variety of jams and spreads. Signature items include the creme brulee French toast and the Tissue Bread, which is designed to be eaten layer by layer.





Besides the highly-lauded Ultraviolet, the French-born Paul Pairet runs an all-day cafe called Polux in Shanghai. Ultraviolet is slated to close sometime this year.




Peking Chamber, a well-known Peking duck restaurant from Beijing, will also open its first Singapore outlet at Weave.

Joining Pierre Herme and other new faces at RWS is tea brand Chagee and Chatterbox. The upscale chicken rice specialist will open its second outlet at Weave.




Weave will take over Forum. The new development will have a biophilic design and extensive landscaping inspired by Singapore’s tropical climate.
