I wanted to try this method as allegedly the wings would see more smoke during the lower temps while preheating.

    I have a recteq it gets to 400 quick so how are people pulling at 400 or are they just leaving them on until they look crispy?

    Can someone explain the logic of what the benifit of starting on a cold grill is? More smoke?
