  1. Omg, thank you to everyone for all of the incredible book recommendations so far! I can't reply to every single comment, but just know that we're reading them all and writing down your recs. I guess we'll keep talking about books in future videos since so many people are excited about it. 🥰

  2. Girl. You should read Feathers so Vicious haha. Romantasy but fucked up. I generally like thriller, horror, and really liked those two books.

  3. This comment will be buried but you guys are such a sweet couple and I appreciate the cozy content. I also got into LEGO as an adult when I had COVID and needed some low-key hands-on activity. I wish they weren’t so expensive though.

Books are my jam and we share some tastes. For something bleak but also profound, humanistic, and “thinky” I recommend How High We Go In The Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu.

    Hope y’all are feeling better!

  4. Hi Sarah, I hope that you are feeling better. I tried the Focaccia, a recipe that I got in internet for Sourdough Foccacia, the dough rised amazing but when I put in the tray to bake was a disaster, could you please tell me where did you get the recipe? And how long was the time for rasing. I am following you awhile now and I have tried some of your recipes, sometimes I have to do addaptation because I can't find the same ingredients here in Ireland, but so far they are really delicious. Thank you so much for your work. I wish you all the best.

  5. Sarah you should read A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS. Oh my god i cried and smiled like crazy while reading that book its amazing!!!! ❤ love your recipes

  6. You should definitely check out Naomi Novik, I have a feeling you would really like her books! She has a few beautiful stand alones and some longer series and they are so varied, it's wonderful.

Also ACOTAR is it's own subset of fantasy romance and not a good rep of fantasy as a whole xD

  7. Sarah!! You should be so proud of yourself for that banana bread recipe. It is the best vegan banana bread I’ve ever made. While I appreciate the healthy vegan versions, sometimes I just want a nice, thick slice of classic banana bread and this truly hit the spot!! Thank you so much 🙂

  8. Sarah!! We tried your banana bread recipe yesterday, and it was really moist, fluffy, and YUMMY!! I'm not vegan, but my sister is, so it was a great treat for all of us! Tysm for the recipe ❤

  9. Hello! Wanted to let you know that I tried your mayonnaise recipe and I couldn't be more amazed. Not only it's the easiest mayonnaise recipe ever(just throw everything together and in secs it comes together) but it's also like an actual mayonnaise. Both my partner and I were amazed(i don't know how many times I have already said amazed😅) I started advertising you everywhere. Thanks for the amazing recipes and I really hope you guys had a complete recovery from the virus.
    Love from Greece and Italy

  10. Hope you’re fully recovered by now! Some book recommendation: for mindbending, Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov, The Little Friend by Donna Tartt, and Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. For sci-fi, basically anything by Ted Chiang. I’d also recommend Mortal Fire and the Dreamhunter series by Elizabeth Knox, and Wake and Billie’s Kiss by the same author for a bit more mature reading. For lighthearted fantasy, Dianne Wynne Jones (Howl’s Moving Castle and the Chrestomanci series). For guilty pleasure romance that’s actually well-written, The Madness of Miss Grey and The Ruin of Evangelina Jones. I tried ACOTAR too but couldn’t even get through the first chapter, it was so bad 😅

  11. Eric, you should read Children of Time. It's a totally unique and original sci fi book. Or the Ender's Game Speaker for the Dead series, if you haven't already. That one is pretty bleak, so Sarah might like it too 😂

Sarah, you should read If We Were Villains. It's very entertaining and kind of fucked up lol. The Bear and the Nightingale is also a lovely and unique fantasy story.

Also, can I just take this moment to validate your dislike for romantasy lol. It is the worst genre. Don't worry, there are tons of great fantasy books out there that aren't just a boring romantic drama.

  12. These look dangerously delicious… 🌿🖤
Might just make a cameo in 🔥Cooked with Love🔥- our vegan mystery-thriller where every bite tells a story. 🎬✨

  13. Hi, I have a really bad toothache. So I made the Italian penicillin and I even made banana bread. Both hit the spot. Sending ❤

  14. you have been one of my favorite youtube creators for so long. i hope you're doing well and thanks for the video even though i'm super late to watching it this time!!! happy spring ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

  15. I recommend two player board/card games for a chill screen free activty, especially co-op ones where you work as a team

  16. i would totally recommend future girl by asphyxia! it made me think a lot but its still a fairly light read and its absolutely beautiful

  17. Merci Sarah, You bring positive vibes towards these recipes and it is always soothing to watch it. Great dishes. Thank you for sharing💚💚

  18. If you're going to read fantasy, the spicy stuffy isn't where it's at. That's coming from someone who's read everything SJM has written. Go with Brandon Sanderson (Mistborn is my personal fave), Melissa McPhail, Patrick Rothfuss, Kel Kade. They're all so much better than SJM, personally. I just didn't find her writing style very gripping or fun. It was very bare bones, simple, and sometimes even just bad. No hate to whoever likes her. There's just so much better fantasy content out there!
