Hey everyone! So I’ve been working on this dream of mine — it’s a new concept called Espeto do Mar and I’m finally putting it out there to get some real thoughts.

Basically… it’s like a Brazilian steakhouse, but for seafood.
We’re talking skewered lobster tails, shrimp, scallops, octopus, fish — all fire-grilled and served nonstop rodízio-style right to your table.

Would you try something like this?
What would you expect from the experience?
What would make it memorable for you?
Any must-have dishes I should consider?

I’m still in the early stages and want to build something people actually get excited about — appreciate any thoughts y’all are willing to share!

Thanks in advance!

Where will this be located? The answer is yes.

I can’t imagine the price you’d have to charge but yeah I’d definitely do that.

Absolutely yes!! Myrtle beach area might be a hot spot

    Sourcing would be interesting.

You would need different setups for shellfish and crustaceans and non shellfish/crustaceans for allergens and maybe religious reasons.

You would need to think about both hot and cold preparations.

    Butter, lots of butter.

How is this concept any better on the owner than just a seafood buffet?

100% yes. But it needs to be in central Ohio please.
The fact that we are 10+ hours away from the nearest ocean definitely won’t be an issue.

Sure, but it sounds incredibly expensive to run and to eat at.

I’m gonna need to see the pricing. But yes it does sound fucking cool. I probably couldn’t afford it.
