I am going to wait for China to pay for that increase 😂
As expected
Tariffs?
Doesn’t feel like it’s a matter of necessity. I love how they always were cheaper than Big Green Egg and offered more accessories. Now it’s the opposite.
Well fuck me, prices went up after tariffs, but seriously this isn’t ok, feeling for you.
That’s wild. Would still choose KJ (currently have a Big Joe 3) over BGE purely on availability of Kamado bits and pieces compared to BGE (at least here in Australia), but still, that price increase is pretty steep, I can understand why people will look at other brands now.
Glad I didn’t wait and just got mine yesterday. Home Depot has the Classic Joe 1 for $653 currently if anyone wants to get in cheap.

If anyone was on the fence about buying a bj3, the above link is where I purchased mine last month. I used scare tactics (I mean logic) to trick (I mean persuade) my wife to let me get the BJ3. The words tariff, trump, and 145% did repeat themselves in that conversation plenty of times. But in reality, once these were 145% more expensive, I could not justify a BJ3. I would have been stuck with just a joe jr
This was by far the best price I’ve seen. I know I could have gotten the BJ3 with cart only for 200 cheaper on Atlanta grill co, but i really wanted the joetisserie as welll, along woth the other things this package came with.
