Tuesday last week was pretty nice out, I work near Lincoln Center so a walk up into the 90's during a break didn't seem like a bad idea. This is a place I had meant to take someone to last year and had it in my head to pay a visit for a while since.

Bufalina is too busy for worktime eating but I do like it a lot so couldn't pass, that 18th Avenue slice did sound pretty nice.

Note: I just realized the description below the Bufalina reads as fred chicken, I hope they never fix that.

  1. Pizza quality here is quite good. Highly recommend the Upside Down (Aged Mozzarella, Tomato Sauce, Grated Pecorino Romano, Extra Virgin Olive Oil)!

Do they still have the clam pie collab with Dame?

I finally tried one of their sandwiches— the chicken parm a la vodka… oh my god is it good. The bread is amazing and the sauce, chicken, cheese, all perfect. It’s quite messy to eat but worth it.

Love mama’s too, bread is definitely the star, pizza is ever so slightly on the salty side, but it’s nice not salty

I went last Sunday around 4 pm UWS no lines at all, waited about 5 min for pizza to get heated, very nice experience

Previous time I went waited in line for about 5 min and got pizza in 10.

Max I would do is probably 15 min.

If the line is too long, head down to Sal and carmines for a NY slice, never a line there.

Poached peer… never heard but interesting. Makes pineapple pizza look mainstream.
