It looks like a bean curd, like tofu, but it's somewhat sweet at first and somewhat savory on the back end. It came in a chirashi don bowl. It tastes really good, just not sure what it is.

    Probably they use a broth made of dried kelp and dried tuna for thickness. and some sugars for flavour.
    Sometimes Hondashi for futher umami.
