[OC] Crab Rangoon Cups. I love crab rangoon but wanted a more simple deconstructed version that had the same flavors but didn’t take a lot of time or effort to make. I decided to use phyllo dough cups and add the crab rangoon mixture.

  1. As a huge crab rangoon fan I like this. I was thinking about making cups from the wrappers and frying them but this is a smart way to do it. How’d you feel about the texture and all from the phyllo cups? Might have to try this. Sometimes I add a lil shrimp to mine and it might look cute (though perhaps impractical) to put the tail end of a shrimp down the center. But it would only look cute if she shell stayed on the tail. Then you might make a mess out of the shell pinching it off lol.

  2. Very neat! Seems like type of hors d’oeurves I would see at a fancy wedding reception or corporate party.
