Baked potato with crispy crust, served with loved sauces, is a perfect as a meal for friends’ party or tv show evening and as a hot appetizer for festive table.
✅ Ingredients:
• potato – 2,2 lb | 1 kg
• olive oil – 3 fl oz | 100 ml
• fresh dill – 2 tbsp | 10 g
• fresh parsley – 2 tbsp | 10 g
• garlic powder – 1 tsp
• tabasco sauce – 1 tsp
• salt – 2 tsp
• water – 6 cup | 1,5 l
✅ You will need:
• oven
• stockpot
• baking sheet
• parchment paper
• carving board
• colander
📙 Preparation:
1. Wash potato thoroughly with a sponge as there is need to not peel it. Cut each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges of one size.
2. In a stockpot pour the potato with cold water, add 1,5 tsp of salt, bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.
3. Add the olive oil, chopped up dill and parsley, garlic, tabasco and ½ tsp of salt to the cooled potato and toss well to coat each potato wedge with the sauce.
4. Lay out the potato on a parchment-lined baking sheet in one layer.
5. Put into the oven preheated to 390°F | 200°C at convection and upper and lower heat mode and bake the potato for 20 minutes until golden crust at the same temperature.
6. Serve the baked Idaho potato with your favorite sauces.
