Onions on a sandwich. Sliced or diced? And also, is this enough onion?

  1. On a sandwich my preference is very thinly sliced.

I prefer thinly sliced, you’re less likely to pull out the whole onion in one bite, thus saving more for the rest of the sandwich.

  3. Diced really only works if it’s super saucy, like yours or micky d’s. I prefer sliced, like a whole ass slice of an onion and about a quarter the height of yours above.

Either, preferrably both (and caramalized as well). And no matter how many you have, it’s never enough.

Depends on the onion. Red=diced or thin sliced. Yellow=thin sliced. Sweet=thick slice

Either way is good IMO, but needs at least 100% more onions!

what was the onion cut with, a dull wood splitting axe?

    I always go sliced on a sandwich…. it’s a neater eat.

I really prefer diced on burgers, whenever I get the rings I always have more of it fall off and I gotta put it back on and it’s just like guhhhh

So I throw some mayo-mustard-ketchup on the top and just bombard with diced white onion and that holds it in place great

Never enough onion. Chopped or sliced depends on the sandwich. This one is definitely sliced

I prefer them sliced, thinly, but diced makes them easier to eat if you have issues with your teeth.

Sliced thin slices. Diced just. End up on the plate or floor

I prefer diced. I hate how often the slices don’t bite off cleanly and you get that onion paper string to deal with.

Thinly sliced would make for a more stable sandwich
