I’d go with the Herradura Marg š

And $22 for an Old Forester julep. Thatās like paying $15 for a single Krispy Kreme.

That is a miserable drinks list lol

Iād pay $18 to pour out a Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay on the ground for my horse homies.

Easily one of the worst drink menus Iāve seen lately š

These prices are for the unwashed. Many seats include all the F&B (including KJ) you can consume. Derby not really a wine eventā my wife, notwithstanding.

These are all partnership/sponsor deals. Jackson Family is a major sponsor of the Kentucky Derby and their affiliate Stable, Stonestreet Stables has multiple horses in the derby this year. I know those prices are a bit outrageous, but if youāre attending the Derby, money is probably your last concern. I also know KJ gets a bad wrap on here, but itās a gateway drug into other wines and producing a wine that consistent at that quality, on that scale is impressive. I know it wouldnāt be many of yāallās first choice, but the chard out drinks many of the competitors in the price point. Many of us donāt fall into the āaverage consumerā category, but thereās a reason itās been the #1 selling American Chardonnay for almost 30 years. Food for thought.

Insane prices

The Derby is not marketing towards folks who balk at these prices. Hell there’s a Thousand dollar Julep.
Then folks on this sub will pay $200+ for a bottle of wine and say “yea sounds about right” lol

Have none of yall be to any sporting event or concert in the last few years? Iām not defending it, but youāre acting like itās crazy. Itās pretty standard.
