Hello, gorgeous!

I’ve been staring at this tin of Nuri spiced whole mackerel in my pantry for a while and today was the day. Maybe it’s me, but I think the way it’s packed is so pretty. These are super firm and didn’t really flake at all coming out of the tin. I took them off the bone, since the spine was a little more intense than I can personally deal with. Paired them with a quick salad and some leftover home fries (buttery carbs 🤝 tinned fish), topped with a generous helping of habanero Tabasco. The fish is milder than I thought it would be, very approachable. Could not recommend more.
