What kind of tape is that you’re using for labels? Does it hold up well in the freezer? This is so satisfying.

I order the labels through Amazon which are compatible with my Brother label printer. They adhere wonderfully to the sous vide bags both in the freezer and the water bath. I have never had a label lift, peel or fall off! I also write the weight of the bag on the label after it is sealed with a Sharpie.
Wow, that’s commitment to labeling. I just sharpie the month/year and a few words like “strip Montreal.” Clearly I’m slumming it here.

Nice! Is it not a bad idea to season meat before freezing? I’ve looked into doing this but assumed the salt and other ingredients would impact the texture of the meat based on what I’ve read. I’m curious what your experience has been though.
