One time my new long haired kitten jumped up on the counter, straight into my gluten free cake batter already in a nice greased baking pan. I had only a few hours before guests arrived to my kid’s birthday party and I had no cake and a pissed off kitten going berserk around the house covered in cake batter. He has since learned no cats on the counter!

Not 2 days ago I made the most perfect batch of cinnamon caramel with toasted coconut flakes. I had it set on the counter and I go to change the laundry I come back and I find to paw prints and an ass print on my caramel. So I go looking for the little jerk and hes in the corner licking himself and yowling. He got his tail stuck to his paws. So I get him cleaned up only to come find his sister with her face stuck in the pan.

a few years ago i was baking a black forest cake for my partner’s 30th birthday and our cat took a bite out of the chocolate sponge cake while it was cooling. she ended up being fine but that wasn’t a fun evening
