Parents had a cow butchered and have me ribs cut labeled as a brisket. Any help in identifying it would be appreciated! Point or flat?by brandonnandez13 3 Comments Milkymommafit 11 months ago Well the ribs are attached to the lower chest which is where a brisket is cut from. Looks like an untrimmed cut! Yummy jtfjtf 11 months ago It is ribs or the breastbone? Could be the whole brisket. MeatHealer 11 months ago Brisket point, mostly. That fat, the blocks of fat on the sides, that’s called the deckle. It separates the point from the flat.Write A CommentYou must be logged in to post a comment.
