I had some leftover kimchi, a block of tofu, and a can of Spam — figured I’d throw them into a pot and make kimchi jjigae.
Honestly didn’t expect much, but it turned out amazing. The broth was rich, spicy, and comforting, and the tofu soaked up all the flavor. The Spam added that perfect salty kick.
Ate it with a bowl of hot rice, and it seriously hit the spot.
Nothing fancy, just good old comfort food that warms you up from the inside out.
Here’s a pic before I devoured it —
Do you prefer pork, tuna, or Spam in your kimchi stew?

Did you press the tofu first?
those are some THICC BOYS
oh yeah and I like all of them. tuna, spam, pork, sausage don’t care.
Love jjiggae but my boyfriend isn’t a big fan. When I make it I always end up with a big pot and eat it for days.
Yes please!
