Hey foodies! We published a map of the best new restaurants in Austin + descriptions of each spot on our list. Here's what our restaurant critic had to say:
"Austin has welcomed an exciting array of restaurants into the dining fold over the last year or so, ranging from luxe omakase experiences to counter-service restaurants serving cuisines packed with flavor."
Check out the list at our link (no paywall!) and we would love to hear your feedback!

P Thai is doomed. One of the worst locations in town and only going to get much worse when I 35 construction gets going. Last restaurant there lasted I think 9 months. Got decent traffic on Friday night but was otherwise just an empty parking lot.
I really loved our time at Tare- You really pay for it, but I got every penny.
So tired of “best” lists. Taste is subjective
At the low cost of an entire paycheck for a meal!! 🤣
Loudmouth automatically adds 3% “kitchen gratuity”. WTF, pay your damn workers.
Matthew Odam tries so hard to be our version of Pete Wells – never gonna happen 😆
Only 2 south of the river. One of them is LeRoy and Lewis and is considered new somehow. Micklethwait is also new? Way to go, Statesman.
Love the boat noodles at P Thai
