Cooked up this bear cheek and there's some kinda goo coming from the middle of the meat. What is it and is it safe to eat?

    I’d be willing to bet that it’s completed melted collagen/fat

    Depends how long did you freeze the meat for? Bear meat is known for having trichinosis if it’s undercooked

    I don’t think I would eat bear even if I had to shoot one in self defense
