I made a batch of cheese sauce for baked potatoes tonight. I added the carrots in and learned a lesson about purple carrots. It’s good if you can deal with the teletubbies vibes.

Purple carrots are so much more purple than you ever expect, they stain everything, including skin. But I’m still impressed with how disgusting this looks, and the thought that it tastes like cheese only makes it more disgusting. Excellent job, this is truly shitty food porn.

Apparently, I had a phase when I was a kid where I’d only eat food that was purple or in purple packaging. My mom altered lots of packages on stuff she bought or sometimes just lied to me during that phase. This would have been something I’d have potentially willingly eaten during that phase as long as the texture was ok.
