








The only restaurant I’m aware of that serves you complimentary Chandon sparkling wine whilst you’re on the waitlist or if you arrive early for your table.
I ordered Ojo de Bife (Rib eye steak), Medio Asado de tira (short ribs), Papas fritas (fries), and Girgolas a la Parril (grilled oyster mushrooms).
When I was seated they offered a complimentary mini empanada together with warm fresh bread and dips. They were equally sublime.
The steak and short ribs were both flavourful. I asked for medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The grilled oyster mushrooms had a scallop like texture and taste.
I didn’t get dessert but they did offer me two delicious pieces of chocolate at the end of the meal.

Don Julio is a testament to the fact that “X best” lists are meaningless and paid for.
Place is wildly inconsistent to the point where it is maybe worth going to if you have a reservation for. Would never wait outside to eat here.
Wait, it has a star now too?! lol
I know there be many a hater, but I had a fantastic time here. Bubbly and empanadas in line?? Amazing. Also literally the only steak I’ve ever sent back in my life but round two was life changing so it was fully redeemed in my books.
Their grilled provolone is fuckin transcendent
