I put my tomatoes in the front of my house ! My husband thinks it’s wired…. I think tomatoes should be seen by everyone not just my back yard.

What’s wrong with that? Your pots are cute. I dug up a parking spot and planted stuff there, and now there are a bunch of weeds, seedlings, a struggling tomato plant, and a struggling egg plant there.

when my dad was in his full retired gardener stage he had 6 beds in the backyard and 6 in the front yard. i see no problem with having veggies growing instead of ornamental plants

We grow our vegetable garden loud and proud in our front lawn since 1998. People love it!

Id be way more interested in someones tomato pics than pics of their child, and way more interested in competing with the neighbors tomatoes than with their lawn. This seems fun! Also, I would be tempted to steal one tomato if you had many.

Every window in my apartment has some kind of fruit or veg growing. I’m using my tomatoes as curtain in the kitchen lol, zucchinis have me covered in the living room. It looks kinda strange from outside but we don’t care. We’re already munching on radishes already, and the cherry tomatoes are thriving even though nothing gets direct sunlight. I can’t wait until we have a wee house with a garden so I can grow as much as I like without fighting for light constantly

Those are cute, but you are going to need much bigger pots, especially if you are trying to show them off!

Personally I think the lot my house sits on should work for me. All of it.

Careful with the direct sunlight there. The reflection off the window and the wall will bake them like they’re in an oven.

Normalize front yard gardens.
