My chilli plants have been in a conservatory (basically a green house in the summer), today I forgot to leave the windows open to prevent the room from becoming an oven and I came home to some very wilted plants. I've given them a good water, can they bounce back from this?

Yeah, just water them, they don’t look dead dead.
Yes, they should recover. Water and they should bounce right back overnight
water and move out of direct sun immediately
🙁 🙁 – please post a photo after they’re better. Should be okay with water but, sad.
Peppers do droop sometimes when it is very hot. Make sure to water them
They’ll be fine as long as you water them peppers are very dramatic plants
Water out of sun there is chance even if there is some die off of the leaves I bet the conserved enough moister to keep a tip growing. Send another pic in the next couple days. Never give up
I’d be inclined to take the pots off the saucers, lay some capillary matting in that gravel tray and keep the matting moist to help avoid something like this in future. But as everyone else has said, they may well recover. Give them a soak and take them out of direct sunlight for a day or so.
They are gonna be soooooooooooooooo mad, once they gain consciousness again.
They look thirsty 💦💦💦
Might be time to repot too
They’re gonna make it. In 24 hours you won’t recognize them as of today
Water them. Chili plants are notoriously dramatic
They Look very under watered.
you could lose some leaves, they won’t take up water and will dry off. The plants should be fine.
They are going to surprise the hell out of you by tomorrow, peppers are such drama queens
Chilli plants are famous for being dramatic just give them water and they’ll be good as new
They like the heat, but really really really really need moist soil to prevent this
Time to repot …
Had the same thing today, gave them some water, shade, and ventilation all good again. And singing for them, of course.
Water them well and put them somewhere shady and in a comfortable temp until they perk up.
