    If it’s in the fridge I don’t understand the problem ,actually alot of questions, fresh fish, or frozen defrosted fish, I mean it won’t be great but 24 hours in a fridge marinating isn’t the worst, but if it wasn’t in the fridge go to he hospital

    Im sure I’m gonna get shit on for this but from my experience with local fisherman. Sometimes fish caught in nets sit there for days dead in the water during plus 30 C heat, then they can sit there for another 1/4 day in bins before getting gutted and put on ice.

    Additionally, my grandfather use to hang dead cows from a hook in a barn until they fell off. This was approx 28ish days later. They would cut the green off, and this was considered ideal beef.

    I understand severe effects can happen to you from meat sitting out for extended periods and I’m not downplaying that. But you’d probably be okay to eat this.

    I get that some people are hung up on the fish being safe to eat or not, but I’m just trying to imagine what that awful mess in top would be like. Nothing about batter would react the same without being fried.
