WALLINGFORD, CT — Laskara restaurant in Wallingford is temporarily closed for kitchen repairs, the owner announced Monday.
The owner shared “some unfortunate news” in a post on Facebook.
“During a kitchen fan repair call, we have been told that our entire hood and suppression system needs to be completely replaced,” the post reads. “This could take weeks while we see how to address this. It is unsafe for our staff to be operating in the kitchen without a new system so we will have to close for at least a couple of weeks. I will keep you updated and please know we thank you for all of your support.”
“We are dedicated to those who enjoy food at its finest, prepared and served with the special care it deserves,” reads a post on Laskara’s website. “We pride ourselves in obtaining the finest ingredients and preparing each dish with individual attention. Please allow time for preparation; your patience will be rewarded.”
